All stones can be used wet or dry to produce sharp cutting edges or to remove burrs. Aluminium Oxide: Man-made abrasive which is extremely tough enabling high speed penetration of high tensile materials without causing excessive fracturing. This resistance to fracturing makes it a versatile material suitable for general sharpening and honing applications.
