    5mm × 36mm spring pin in A2 (304) stainless steel.

    It springs out against the hole wall and grips, so it holds without a reamed hole or any threaded retention. A2 (304) stainless covers most outdoor and damp indoor work without rusting, though it is not the grade for coastal or chemical exposure.
