    M3.5 × 25mm countersunk slotted self-tapping screw in galvanised steel.

    No tapping step and no nut on the back — it forms the thread in sheet metal, plastic or thin section as it goes in, which is what makes it quick on a production or repair job. The galvanised coating gives solid outdoor corrosion protection at a fraction of the cost of stainless.

    Pilot-drill to the screw's core diameter in metal. Too small and you snap heads; too large and it strips.

    Manufactured to DIN 7972. Dimensions, thread form and head geometry follow the standard, so it interchanges with any other DIN 7972 part of the same size regardless of who made it.
