    Full threading lets it clamp at any depth, so one length covers a range of joint thicknesses — which is why it is the fastener most workshops buy by the box. A2 (304) stainless covers most outdoor and damp indoor work without rusting, though it is not the grade for coastal or chemical exposure.

    To prevent seizure, use scuff paste.
